WHEN IT COMES TO FULL-SERVICE HEALTH MANAGEMENT  SERVICES—NOBODY DOES IT LIKE AGGLICO

Agglico Health’s mission is to improve the health outcomes and quality of life for individuals who have less access to basic health care services.
We provide a combination of direct medical services, health promotion including on site health screening and disease prevention activities, and referrals to medical and social resources.

While there is no “silver bullet” solution, the work suggests that a model combining local health officers, telemedicine, and, where possible, mobile clinics could help African countries leverage their existing health systems to scale up access to primary health care quickly, effectively, and cheaply. While the Agglico model’s individual components aren’t new, together they could help revolutionize health care in African and other low- income countries. Our mission is to improve the health outcomes and quality of life for individuals who have less access to basic health care services.

We provide a combination of direct medical services, health promotion including on site health screening and disease prevention activities, and referrals to medical and social resources.Health services should be focused enough to be manageable and affordable yet broad enoughto cover a range of essential needs. These will include first aid, basic preventive and diag- nostic services, the distribution of materials (say, nutritional supplements or first care medications, and essential curative care—as well as the monitoring and, occasionally, treatment of chronic conditions.
